What are the best Australian Podcasts 2016 that you should check out?
You don’t have time to check out all the Podcasts on iTunes or you’d be there for years. So instead, we’ve made our own list of cool, indie, non big business podcasts for you to check out. So without further ado, here’s our list of the best Australian Podcasts 2016!
1. Podd Socks
The Podd Socks Podcast is a simple conversation amongst friends that can have you on the edge of your seat, bring you to tears, or make you laugh carelessly. Each week three friends sit down and have a chat about whats happening in the world and have a bit of fun. This is not only a fun and lighthearted podcast but incredibly informative. Trust us, you’ll have a great time with Podd Socks.
2. I love green guide letters
Every episode, host Steele Saunders invites guests to come by and read the latest reader letters sent to the country’s version of the TV Guide, The Green Guide, and the result is pure magic. One of the bigger podcasts on iTunes in 2015, it won’t disappoint.
3. Levitation and Other Things we’ll eventually do
Join Corey and Pinchy who bring you back to the good days of Australian comedy with LOTWED. Skits, shits and laughs all round as they take you on a psychedelic trip through uneasy minds. These two rapscallions will give you a run for your money so make sure you keep your door locked and one hand on your wallet. I’d say that LOTWED gets down and dirty answering questions about science, physics and the mysteries of the world but then i’d be a liar. They seamlessly bind humor with fun facts that will definitely help you during your next commute to work.
4. The Sweetest Plum
Declan Fay and Nick Maxwell rant, rave and ramble their way through whatever is winding them up this week. Twenty minutes of barely concealed bitterness, masquerading as social comment, from two extremely out of work comedy writers. Dec and Nick are a comedy giant combo and will do nothing short of make you roll around on the floor shitting yourself laughing.
5. The Little Dum Dum Club
Superpals Tommy Dassalo and Karl Chandler present a hastily edited grab bag of stories and general dickheadery with special guest comedians. It doesn’t get better than the dum dum club. You will want to give them a listen when you get a chance. They get some great guests.
